(For those of you who don't know, as I didn't until about a year ago. Lady Gaga is an eccentric singer, kind of a new Madonna. Total freak show if you ask me.)

Out of the mouth of Hazel
The other day as we got in the car Kimball was saying something about Lady Gaga. I asked him where he had heard about Lady Gaga. He replied he didn't know, and wasn't even sure who or what it meant. Hazel quickly piped in, "What about Gentleman Gaga"?

Kimball's Last Day of School
First day of 1st grade.
Last day of 1st grade.
Today was Kimball's last day of school. It is amazing how much he has grown this year. He has really loved school this year. I attribute his success this year to his outstanding teacher, Sheila Jorgensen. (Thanks, Mrs. Jorgensen!)
Kimball is a good student. He is great at math and has improved in reading a lot this year. He is the little "science nerd" in his class. He is like a walking science book, he just naturally remembers science facts when he hears them. His favorite shows to watch are shows like Nature or National Geographic. They keep him entertained for hours, and then he finds me and regurgitates all the things he has learned. Mrs. Jorgensen relies on Kimball to verify the science facts that she teaches the class. Kimball wants to be an ocean scientist when he grows up. (Ironically I wanted to be the same thing when I was his age.)
Kimball, we are so proud of you and all the hard work that you have done this year.
Way to Go Buddy!

Boxes, Boxes, & more Boxes
I'm drowning in a sea of boxes.
The downstairs is stacked with boxes from the floor to the ceiling. The garage is bursting at the seams with boxes and stuff.
I can't see the floors because of the mess but decided that Kimball's field trip today took precedence over the mess.

It's a huge challenge to get an entire house packed up.
But. . . we are excited, we found a lovely home to rent and will officially be moving in two weeks from today.
Hopefully I can get to the kitchen before dinner time tonight.
Oh how I despise moving!
