Andrew will officially be done with residency at the end of June. We have been on the job search for quite some time, and it has caused many sleepless nights for us, especially Andrew. We have had a deep desire to be in Idaho or at least close by, but we knew that the Lord knew better than us what would be best. So. . . . after months of praying for whatever situation would be best for our family our prayers have been answered.
We are so excited to announce that Andrew will be employed with St. Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario Oregon!
Ontario, Oregon is on the East side of Oregon on the Idaho border. Fruitland, Idaho is where we are going to live; it is on the West side of Idaho on the Oregon border. The Snake River is the dividing line for the two states. Ontario is about 30 minutes northwest of Nampa/Boise area. We are thrilled to be a short distance away from Andrew's older brothers, Kim & Randy. We can hardly believe that we have the chance to be Idahoans again! Andrew will start work in Ontario in July. We are currently looking for a place to live in Fruitland.
We haven't used the words lucky with this job offer because we feel that it is so much more than luck. We know that the Lord has blessed our family and answered our prayers!

No it wasn't luck - Andrew has worked hard and deserves to pick where you want to live. Boy, I'll miss your family. But I'm so happy for you guys. What a beautiful part of the northwest...
*Andrew AND Becky deserve to pick, because we all know a school/work schedule is demanding on a family and requires a lot of late nights and sacrifices for the mom too!

You will be close to my grandmother-in-law and my in-laws. They live in Fruitland and Payette. Be ready for the smell of onions though! Fruitland is a really cute town but be prepared to do most of your shopping at Walmart, Home Depot, Kmart, and various little stores like Red Apple, Albertsons. You will want to drive to Boise to do clothes shopping etc. If you have questions let me know!
Oh Becky congrats! congrats!! That is totally awesome!! I will be able to see you again when I go out to Boise to see Kyle's family!! YAY!!
One half of me says: Congrats-- so happy for you. It sounds just perfect!
